Application Instructions for the AIBS Bangla Language Fellowship Program
Eligibility Verification:
- Confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria for the program (academic status, professional need, language level).
- Clearly state your language proficiency level (beginner, intermediate, advanced) in your application.
Required Application Materials:
- Completed Application Form
- Statement of Purpose (500–750 words): Explain your academic/professional goals, reasons for studying Bangla, and how this program aligns with your future plans.
- Current CV/Resume: Include academic history, language experience, and relevant work or research experience.
- Official Transcripts: From your current or most recent institution.
- Letters of Recommendation (2): At least one from an academic advisor or faculty member who can either comment on your current language proficiency or need for learning the language.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency: A scanned copy of your passport or green card.
- Optional: Documentation for any disability accommodations requested.

Selection Process:
